Fees

What you pay, and where it goes.

Each pool charges a fixed swap fee, set when the pool is created and immutable thereafter. The genesis DNR/USDC.e market charges 0.30%.

The fee is taken from the input amount before the curve is applied, and stays in the pool. It is not transferred anywhere — it simply increases the reserves, which increases the value backing every LP token.

Liquidity providers currently receive 100% of the swap fee. A protocol fee mechanism exists in the contracts but ships disabled, and enabling it would be a public, on-chain governance action rather than a silent change. It is capped in immutable code at half the fee, so providers keep at least 50% under any reachable setting.

Price impact is a separate cost from the fee, and the interface shows them on separate lines. The fee is what you pay the pool; price impact is how far your own trade moves the price against you. Combining them would show you the same cost twice under two names.
